Most girly pampering out there seems to involve the sense of smell (thank you, aroma therapy craze!), which of course is lost on me for the most part. So as far pampering goes, the only sense that can really be pampered for me is one—touch. And so, if I am going to pamper myself with any bath product, that bath product first and foremost has to feel good.

One of my favorite I-want-to-feel-pampered products out there is the Bath & Body Works Foam Burst Body Wash. It’s a very cool tactile experience! Unlike most foam soaps, which foam a little bit and then disappear after about 30 seconds, this foam wash stays foamy for a really long time, allowing one to make all the bubble clothes one wishes (oh don’t judge…I’m sure you’ve made bubble clothes too. I’m just not ashamed to admit that I STILL enjoy making a good foam bikini now and then. Shower time is MY TIME, gosh darn it!). Plus, I’m consistently complimented on smelling good after using it. So two or so years ago when Bath & Body discontinued this product, you can understand how bummed I was!

But now, with their semi-annual sale they’ve brought back my favorite shower product/toy of all time! Well, that’s not totally true, the exception being a makeshift squirt gun made out of a de-tailed My Little Pony (of course!). But you should have seen me in the store! I was so happy, I was giggling for about an hour!

And so, I’m sharing this (detailed) information for all those who share my love of foamy soap and/or those who were upset by Bath & Body discontinuing the Foam Burst Body Wash. Sale ends July 5th, and who knows if they’ll keep this product after the sale ends. So go stock up (if I haven’t bought them out first).
